    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    4 eggs, beaten
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    5 large bananas
    1 c. chopped walnuts


Preheat oven to 350.

Cream butter and sugar. Beat eggs until light and add. Sift together 3 times the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture a little at a time. Add slices of banana alternately with flour mixture, beat well. Then stir in nuts.

Line 2 greased medium bread pans with wax paper. Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool in pans; remove waxed paper. Wrap in foil and refrigerate or freeze.

Makes 2 whole loaves of bread. 24 servings per loaf.
