Introduction

We always have trouble with sodium, so we're constantly trying to lower the amount of sodium we use. We bought no salt added garbanzo beans and skipped the salt to make this hummus and we were very happy with the flavor. Obviously you could add salt to taste if you think it needs it. Ingredients

    Kuner's Garbanzo Beans - No Salt Added, 2 cans
    Garlic, 3 tbsp
    Cumin, ground, 1 tsp
    Yogurt, plain, low-fat, 3/4 cup
    Red pepper flakes, 1/2 tsp
    Sesame seeds, 2 tbsp

Directions

Put all ingredients into a blender and mix.

We found it easiest to add the yogurt one quarter cup at a time until we were happy with the consistency.

Makes about 10 1/4-cup servings.
