This is a pretty basic bread recipe that is very versatile. It's a Flat Bread though, it's not a loaf. This bread is called Garlic bread but you can omit the garlic completely if you like and/or add any other herbs you might like to give it more flavor. You can also use pretty much any nut you like.

I make this in a loaf pan. This is actually a recipe for Carrot CAKE. By baking it in a loaf pan instead of a cake pan, Jim will eat it for breakfast, toasted with some butter on it. Yum!!
Recipe adapted from WeirdEyes' Dirty Rice. I just modified this so that the Gimme Lean Breakfast Sausage is used, along with Vegan worchestershire sauce and vegan beef flavored broth. I also add some of the Tony Cachere's 'LITE' creole seasoning to taste. SOOOOOO good! I think that using sausage flavored substitute sausage gives it a more authentic flavor.
(I always use reduced sodium products, when available to help lower the sodium of the dish. You will notice there is no added salt but you definitely do not miss it!)
This bread is wonderful, but I discovered that it is too high in carbs for my (new) diabetic self. So, look for a decreased carb version here coming soon.
I originally created this recipe BEFORE I became diabetic; had more sugar and different flour composition. This one tastes great, though, and allows us low-carbies to enjoy bread!
I am diabetic and always altering recipes to fit my diet. These are palatable and so useful -- as toast, pita pockets, etc.
A cold vegetable side dish with lots of protein. There's no cumin like most salads of this type, it relies mainly on the flavor of the fresh herbs.
Low calories, Low Carb, Low Fat substitute for garlic mashed potatoes.
Classic Hungarian pancakes. Very rubbery and great to fill with other goodies either sweet or meat and cheese.
This recipe is for a mixed sauce for El Pollo Rico Peruvain rotisserie chicken.
