This is super fast and added good protein and fiber. Recipe can be cut in half very easily.
From Bobby Dean's Cookbook: From Mama's table to mine....only I substituted healthier ingredients to make it more Weight Watchers friendly:) Only 4.8 points a serving ( Old WW style)
Dice onion and bell pepper. In large bowl mix by hand: onion, pepper, ground beef and sausage. Add bread crumbs, salt and pepper; mix. Add eggs and tomato sauce; mix until well blended.
Pat into oiled loaf pan or 9X11 baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees F for about an hour.

This combination makes a really hearty and good meal on a cold winter day. This makes six-2 cup containers for freezer storage--that can be heated and served on busy days.
Super easy. Meal can be on table within minutes, since the sauce is already cooked and you are just adding your favorite ingredients to it.
All the garden-grown and frozen vegetables make a really delicious and filling soup. I love this soup. My mother-in-law always made it and put whatever she had in the pantry in it. It always turned out great!
