Similar to salmon patties or crab cakes, this recipe is fast, easy, very tasty and forgiving. It's kid friendly to! The onions are optional (exclude if feeding kids) and the bread crumbs do not need to be precise. You can also add a bit of Parmesan cheese, garlic powder/salt, dill or parsley to the mix. Or you can use plain bread crumbs instead of seasoned if you don't have any on hand.
Serving size is about 1/2 pound of deep fried fish. Not really figuer friendly, but not so bad for a splurg meal.
Mix 1 teaspoon mustard and 2 table spoons mayo with 1 can of tuna. Add salt to taste. Place between two pieces and bread and enjoy!
We have tweaked this a little to so it has less olive oil. Original recipe said 1/4 cup olive oil.
