Really cheesy sauce that is great on brocolli, cauliflower, macaroni... and no fat!
Truly food for the soul... very filling and wonderful flavors make this an easy go to meal anytime of the day or night. Easily refrigerated and warmed in microwave or oven as left overs.

Most cornbreads have some sweetening in them, but I've never liked that. This one relies on saltiness. I should experiment with toning down the salt and the cream...but in the meantime, here's this one. Keep those slices small and eat it with something extra healthful.
I bake this in a 12-inch cast-iron skillet.
This can be a main or side dish. Doctor it up or down. I use it a lot if I'm low on my calories and/or carbs for the day. Also a good source of folate. Whole grain, vegetables, fiber. What more can you ask for.
