Moderation is the key. These are addictive. The only cookie to get me several standing marriage proposals from my HUSBAND's coworkers.
They're just the right size for tea cookies.

I use unsalted butter.

trying to improve on a fat free chocolate chip cookie. too bad they don't have a fat free chocolate chip. These have better texture than those made with fat free yogurt.

This is a varriation of the recipe from Land O Lakes website. I have changed out the sugar for Splenda it comes out a little more dense but is just as good.

NOT diet friendly. I made them for a party and wanted to know the ugly truth about them. :)

These cookies are soo versatile! You can use any cake mix flavor (I used lemon cake mix) and you can mix in anything that you want.

Shape these into a ball, then flatten slightly. Make an indentation with your thumb and put in a bit of your favorite jam before you bake them. They freeze well between sheets of wax paper. Are great to have on hand for company.

I have added the Monk Fruit sweetener into the list of ingredients - be sure to add it! It is not in the calorie portion of the ingredients list because I cannot get the entry to make the carbs be right. This should be 2 grams net carbs per cookie.
