Nutrition & Calorie Comments

To clear up some confusion in the comments about calorie counts: 1 serving of a cake mix box is 1/12 of the total yields (which usually is around 150-180 calories for just the mix) BUT when you make cupcakes, a box yields approx 24 cupcakes. SO...one cupcake is half a serving and half the calories.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm..... I just completed the first batch and they are outstanding. Kids and hubby love them. We will have them again. I wish we could find a definitive answer on the number of calories, but I love the fact that they are completely low fat!
So good! I dislike pumpkin but couldn't taste it through the chocolate. Very light, whole family had 2 from this first batch! If you're trying to calculate your own calories, don't forget to subtract the calories for the eggs & oil from the total calories on the box of cake mix. :)
I agree with the previous rating. This recipe is higher in calories than stated. The best I could to was 160 c's per serving for the cake mix...making the total calories for this muffin 173 each. Still, it's a GREAT recipe...almost too easy to be true!
Very tasty! This is the second week in a row that I'm making them. They make a great breakfast on the go, or afternoon snack. I'm not sure the nutritional content is correct though. The lowest calorie cake mix I could find which used Splenda had 150 calories per serving (1 serving used per muffin).
I LOVE these. I have also tried them with some semi sweet chocolate morsels in them. Also with a little podered sugar with them. They are sooo good either way. I am going to try a spice cake mix with pumpkin soon. That should be delish!
