It's in the oven now, TeaLover! I'll try to remember to come back and let you know how it turned out! I used a milk wash to brown it better instead of the egg, and cut the sugar in half. Do you know you don't tell us here what to do with the butter? I dotted it on top of the apples. Hope it's ok
