Nutrition & Calorie Comments

this was delicious. Would have been even better if you glaze the chops every 15 minutes with the sugar/cin/nutmeg runoff.
the sugar burnt
My family loved this. I only used about 1/8 cup of sugar though (if that much). Not sure why you would need 1/2 cup!
Pretty good, but I agree with comments. Figure the calories, cook it a little lower. I cooked mine in a cast iron skillet at 375 for 30 minutes. My boneless pork chops were not thick.
These were really tasty. I actually used brown sugar instead of the white.
MAde with Brown (sugar) Splenda, bone in chops. Use Recipe Calculator to get correct info.
This sounded like a awesome receipe but there were a few problems I found, the calories are way off & the temprature I fell is a bit high. My apples carmalized & the pork chops dried out. Maybe lower the heat to 375 & keep an eye on the time. Im going to try it that way next time
My husband and I like this - kids were not to sure about the apples after seeing I'd cooked the meat on top. Maybe not the best choice for a family meal. I also re-entered the recipe to get an acurate portion size and calorie count.
This was delicious! Apples and pork chops compliment each other so well. My SIL and husband enjoyed it too.
I did recalculate the nutritional facts, as the ones listed here are way off.
This was very good. I made it last night for dinner. I have a hard time cooking pork that turns out tasting good, and this did it. I didn't have sugar in the house, so I used brown sugar instead. My daughter said it tasted like apple pie. Yummy!
This recipe even pleased my Mother In Law! If you wanted to, you could even use the left over apple sauce from under the chops with fat free vanilla bean ice cream. It was THAT good! We actually got 4 1/2 pork chops out of this recipe. Will be using again. A real KEEPER!
Going to make this today. I have two pork chops, loin center cut boneless (.75 in package) so may need to re-calculate the nutrition. Sounds easy and healthy too. Love pork on NY's day, tradition.
I used granny smith apples and Splenda blend brown sugar. So easy and so good!! Definitley a keeper. Thank you =)
Very good. The family loved it and we will make it again. I added a touch of ground cloves and ginger and less sugar because the apples were very sweet.
I substituted the sugar for Splenda blends. I also added sliced baby carrots too! It was delicious!
This is a great recipe, and we enjoyed it very much. However as some others have said, the calorie info is really off unless you are planning on only eating less than an oz of the pork. Be aware as you plan your meal. It is NOT 105 calories a chop as you may think.
I am cooking this right now & it doesn't say to cover so I didn't. This makes me nervous. Smells wonderful. Made with 5star grilled veggies & baked sweet & white potatoes, Red white& blueberry dessert is a perfect finisher to this meal. ALL recipes r here! *Subbed for splenda where sugar was needed*
wonderful, everyone loved it, easy and light on the calories!
This was amazing! Though the calories are WAY off. The apples were enough to make my boyfriends night.
This recipe was great. I baked some cabbage to eat with the pork and had low fat ice cream with the apples. It was great and easy to make. My husband enjoyed it as well.
This recipe is delicious and so easy to prepare but I agree with the first poster-- there's NO way it's only 105 calories!
UH - now that's i've looked at the ingredients and how you came up with the calories I'm afraid I'm not sure your calories are correct - 4 pork chops are alot more than 3 oz. and 4 apples peeled and sliced are more like 2 cups than 1 - you may want to revisit your portions and sizes of ingredients
The ingredient details look like they are broke down to 1 serving. I have never seen this before on Spark but...
It says 3 oz of pork chop and .12 sugar. but then the spices are right on the mark. This is confusing!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is probably the best way I have had pork chops! It was so delicious! My husband and I were both licking our chops at the end of the meal, and I think this will become a family favorite. It is so easy to make, and tastes great! Check your calories, though, it's more than what this recipe says.
I know it is good when everyone eats every last morsel and w/3 teenage boys and a 11 yr old daugher, that's raw that everyone is happy. My husband was licking the pan. I used Granny Smith apples and put 1/2 the sugar in. The pork chops taste like bacon when cooked like this.
1 chop(boneless) at about 3.44 oz would make this dish around 332 cals 10g fat 32.1 carb and 27.8 protein. Thats what i got anyway. It made a great dinner
This is a wonderful recipe, very delicious! I noticed, though, that the nutrition information was not correct (105 calories for a medium pork chop!). Maybe when you added the ingredients you forgot to change how many pork chops to use?
