Thank you for doing the work on this; it's a long-time family favorite. I was worrying about the sodium; it's not as bad as I thought. YUM!! I do use olive oil, wonder how much difference that makes. Again, thanks :)
I made these twice once with the oil called for to me to oily the second time I made them I sprayed my potatoes with cooking spray and used 1/4 cup oil and was much better and less fat otherwise delicious tasting even kids enjoyed
I will try this with the substitue Onion soup mix in my spice cookbook. Limiting salt.
