Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I use 4 oz. fillets and use coconut aminos because I cannot eat soy based products. I don't need the brown sugar as the coconut aminos have a natural sweetness. Really very tasty.
Everybody liked it! Husband and four teenagers included. We like salmon in general but I've always prepared it with just olive oil, basil, garlic, salt/pepper. Served with caramelized red, yellow, and orange bell peppers tossed with flash cooked sugar snap peas - a great meal!
Rating this 5 stars for the important tips, but I would certainly leave the brown sugar OUT. Most of us do NOT need to add sugar, and without the tips I'd give this three stars. BUT -- the tips are important enough that subtracting out one marginal ingredient can't detract from five.
Loved this recipe! Simple and satisfying. I substituted honey for brown sugar.
Yummy, but I left out the sugar.
