I seldom use pasta so I made this with zoodles and it was quite acceptable. Certainly saves on calories as well.
If you want to say a lot of calories, omit the pasta and replace with 2+ cups of shredded lettuce on a plate. I avoid white carbs and have found you can a very satisfying and highly nutritional meal without them.
