Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This is one of my favourite cookies. I love dark chocolate and pepermint together and the calorie count is good as well.
Where are you all finding sugar free candy canes? I used to be able to find them, however, have checked every grocery in my area, and no luck. Love the sound is this recipe, but need the candy canes.
Saving this one for next year for sure! We love these flavors together and it's great to hide a lower calorie, higher fiber treat in an amongst the others. This year I snuck in a modified gingerbread. This is going in my next year's arsenal of sneaky modifications.
I used Domino Light, which is a blend of sugar and stevia, instead of sugar. That allowed me to put on a bit more chocolate. I also used some peppermint extract in the chocolate. That can be done instead of the candy canes on top, though we liked the candy cane pieces. We all liked this cookie.
sounds good. how many cookies per serving? Is say 72 cookies per batch... is one cookie one serving? 55 calories for one cookie is a lot I think.
Has anyone used Splender instead of sugar, and it so does it work as well?
I love the dough on these cookies!! I actually found there was too much chocolate in this recipe - I didn't want to cover so much of the cookie in chocolate, so I just dribbled it. There was probably half of the dark chocolate left over. Another good way to save some calories. Thanks!
