Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This sounds delicious but I would not add Gatorade and would need to add some protein powder. I saved the recipe. Thank you.
I would also add more fiber in place of the Gatorade. Thank you!
Added a scoop of protein powder and a cup of water to substitute for the Gatorade. Tasty and filling. Put the leftovers in the freezer to use for breakfast.
I make these smoothies quite a lot but I had protein to mine as I have had weight loss surgery 5.5 yrs ago. I do love them ! I think I would opt for skim milk or peach flavored water before using Gatorade though.
Since the yogurt comes in a 6oz container I just poured the whole thing in. And instead of OJ and Gatorade I used the Crystal Light water flavoring (Sunrise Orange and Fruit Punch) in bottled water as a substitute. Turned out great! Made 6 Cups and each cup was only 50 calories!
Sounds great with a very reasonable calorie count. Eager to try
While a little high on carbs, Gatorade adds some nutrients not found in flavored water or extra skim milk. After all, this is a snack. It's not something you would be drinking four times a day. Everything in moderation makes this a great change. If U add fiber and protein, change the caloric values.
I add protein powder as well. Great option for vegetarians!
Leave out the Gatorade! No need to add artificial junk food to an otherwise healthy drink. I use orange juice or skim milk, along with a scoop of vanilla soy protein powder (trader joes is great). Great power drink to start your day strong.
I will make this this today! Will use (less sugar) vanilla yogurt though, fiber powder, and less Gatorade.
Why the Gatorade with all its calories? I agree that it needs more protein. So added protein powder, more yogurt, & subbed lime juice for Gatorade.
Considering the flavored yogurt and the gatorade, that's a lot of unnecessary sugar. Also, I prefer fresh fruits to frozen.
I added a fiber powder and a frozen Banana to this. No Gator Ade but did add soon Skim Milk...Very Tasty and filling.
Looking at all the natural ingredients...why would you ruin it with a bottled drink???? I keep it natural and would add fiber powder as well as protein powder.
Make these types of smoothies all the time, with added protein powder and fiber. No Gatorade, Tastes great!
I add soy protein powder and tofu to bulk up the protein. Great for all you menopausal ladies fussing with hot flashes.
used frozen raspberries since I didn't have cherries. Also used reduced calorie fruit punch Gatorade.
I would add whey protein powder to this. Sounds goos.
I might add additional no calorie fiber to this recipe to add to fiber per serving.
Needs a good bit more protein.
