Nutrition & Calorie Comments

What an interesting change, using maple syrup rather than brown sugar.
this was really good! great flavors and depth. I reduced the maple syrup A TON (didnt want the extra calories) and stovetop grilled the meat first. It was so good! a keeper
Can't wait to try this. Hubby loves pork, and by substituting sugar-free syrup, it will have less sugar and calories. S-H-H-H! Don't tell him!
Finally got a chance to try this recipe which was excellant. Because my husband is diabetic I used syrup with no sugar and chopped garlic in a jar. The mariate I thickened with cornstarch for gravy for the family. In fact I think the mariate would be very good over chicken
It sounds very nice, only a little heavy on the sodium and sugar
delicious...to cut carbs a little (a lot actually) I use maple flavoring (about 1 1/2 tea) and added some water. I also cook in the crock pot cause I like fall apart meat. Can use any pork roast just make sure to marinade it...over night is best!
