Ingredients

    1 Whole Turkey (12 lbs)
    6 Tbsp Promise margarine, divided
4 Cups low sodium chicken broth
2 Tbsp Mrs Dash Original Blend Seasoning
    2 Tbsp Morton Lite Salt
    2 Tbsp Dried Parsley
    1 Tbsp Ground Sage

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Rinse and wash turkey. Discard the giblets, or add to pan if they are anyone's favorites.

2. Place turkey in roasting pan. Separate the skin over the breast to make little pockets (do not pull off). Put 3 tablespoons of the margarine on both sides between the skin and breast meat. This makes for very juicy breast meat.

3. In a small bowl, combine the seasonings. Add the 4 Cups chicken broth to this. Pour over the top of the turkey.

4. Cover with foil, and bake in the preheated oven until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 180 degrees F (80 degrees C). Times vary according to your own oven) For the last 45 minutes or so, remove the foil so the turkey will brown nicely.

Let turkey rest 30 min before carving.

So easy and I got so many complements on it! It was also the first time I have cooked a turkey, so the directions were to the point. - 11/30/08

I made this as my first turkey ever, and in a roasting pan, which I found cooks quicker than the way it was cooked in this recipe. So my turkey came out a bit dry, so next time, I will cook for less time, or try preparing the way it says to in the recipe, but over all, it was good! - 12/13/12

I will try this, however I will be omitting the salt and doubling the spices. I will also mix some of the spices with the butter and rub it in under the skin. - 11/12/10
