I will be making this with Stevia. I don't trust Splenda, I don't eat diet foods made with this ingredient.
I will let you know how it turns out.
    Thank you very much!!

I tried this sauce for the first time about a week or 2 ago and it was awesome! I would recomend this only to people that can handle something with a little kick though. - 8/23/09

    Very Good
Good base, however, be very careful with the pepper. It's really easy to overdo that. I don't really think it needs as much as the recipe indicated. I also subbed Frank's Hot Sauce for Tabasco and used somewhat less Splenda (I like my sauce more savory than sweet). - 7/14/14

I needed a recipe for BBQ that didn't include ketchup, since I'm out. I found this one and gave it a try (minus the Tabasco) and it is perfect! I used the full tablespoon of chili powder and knew that would be spicy enough. It is awesome! Thanks so much! - 2/3/13

If you want to reduce the carbs even more, use the sugar free low carb ketchup recipe (submitted by MBC10449) instead of the tomato sauce. Delicious! - 1/11/13

OMG! This the best! You're a blessing! I doubled it and used Frank's hot sauce. No more store brand. - 10/28/12
