I used fat free cottage cheese, peaches in it own juice and plain bran flakes. Then I tossed on a few raisins, cranberries or dates. (Raisin Bran has added sugar.) My version had much fewer calories and healthier. No fat or sugar. Great! - 3/4/08

The resapy sounds good, and I'll try it, but how about correctnig all the speling errers? Five mistakes in 5 lines is a bit distracting. Why can't Sparkpeople check and edit the recipes they feature as specials? - 8/17/10

This reminds me of McD's fruit & yogurt parfait! I will try it with non-fat cottage cheese and with plain non-fat yogurt, too (I like the cultures). - 7/13/10

Awesome thoughts and good foods. I know cottage cheese is high in sodium which some can't have. Also, I buy peaches in 100% juice to cut the carbs and sugars. Several cereals are good with it. - 8/18/18

OMG I'm in love; my new fav way to eat cottage cheese. Used as a mid morning snack. Although it was a tad too sweet, next time I'll following Kaseyk's suggestion and use plain bran flakes. Otherwise this is a keeper. Thank you! - 6/25/18

Allergic to peaches, as well as most other fruits. Raisin bran has too much sugar for this diabetic, so used all bran and tried it with unsweetened applesauce -- delicious! As is, I'm sure the recipe is delicious, so had to come up with an alternate -- sorry for not reviewing it as is. 8-/ - 2/4/18

Liked the basics but changed due to preferences. Cottage cheese made it way too high in salt for me. Thus used ricotta. Also, not want the syrup so used fresh fruit. This was a cute way to make something with grandkids that they would eat. - 1/27/18

Spell check: extre should be extra; rasin should be raisin, chesse should be cheese, and refridgerate should be refrigerate.
