really good! I too, left out the splenda but added another apple, it's totally sweet enough. I will put dried cranberries in nest time instead of the stupid immitation bacon bits I bought for this recipe. That was the only thing that I didn't like about it, too bad , I had the cranberries on had too - 3/17/08

I have been making this salad for years using broccoli florets, shredded carrots, shredded cheddar cheese and grapes . I always add 1or 2 tsps of curry powder...also use plain yoghurt instead of sour cream! Delish!! I'm always asked to bring this to family gatherings. Also great the next day! - 9/18/09

Most of the bacon bits in the Salad dressing section are imitation bacon bits (meaning soy based), so this is a vegetarian dish, unless you buy the REAL bacon bits, which I never do. I'm sure this person was thinking imitation bacon bits. Miracle Whip is "Light Whipped salad dressing" & not mayo. - 3/15/08

I have never seen or heard of shredded Broccoli and Cauliflower. Love them both and have 2 heads of Cauliflower in the fridge right now. Would have to use something othere than slpenda or artificial sweetners. Wonder if Sun Crystals or Stevia would work as well.
I know it's going to taste awesome - 9/19/09

I love broccoli and cauliflower cooked or raw, but never heard of shredded. Next time I'm in Omaha, I'll stop at one of the larger grocers. Anxious to try this recipe as is and may use other ingredients, like the raisins, carrots, etc.. won't have any problem adding this to my menues. YUM! - 3/13/10

I've been making something like this for years, but appreciate the ways to make it healthier - FF sour cream, Spenda, etc. You can use shredded broccoli and cauliflower, but you can also use just cut them into small pieces ... less of a slaw and more of a salad. I've also added used torn lettuce. - 3/5/10
