I used coke zero and fudge cake. The cake just has an off taste. I would recommend pumpkin puree instead of the soda as a tastier and healthier alternative. Will not make again nor would I recommend. - 6/11/08

I've never made this, but I've added soda to cake mix in place of water. It is always very good, and everyone loves it. I neverwould have thought to leave out all other ingredients. I will try this next time I bake a cake. My fave is red velvet with Dr. Pepper. - 2/12/08

sounds interesting and 0 g cholesterol is tempting but the sodium content is just too high for me. I might let the kids give it a try though - not much mess to clean up :) - 12/24/10

Sounds good but it would be healthier to use water. - 5/17/08
