I enjoy fresh fruit and veggies everyday, along with all kinds of dishes. I try to make wise choices and strive for balance. Each one of us has different tastes/needs & are at different points. Choosing this over a 32-oz reg. Mountain Dew is an excellent choice. Food police not needed, thanks! - 6/13/08

I found this to be delicious. Since there are two servings, I just divide in half for myself later. I found that adding ice cubes made the second serving watery but still good. I omit the ice , only for that reason. Delicious ! - 6/22/09

I like the idea of adding soy milk, vanilla yogurt would give it a creamsicle kind of taste. I'm going to try that!

Excellent healthy recipe - - especially if you buy the pineapple that doesn't have any added corn syrup. Great source of potassium!! and delicious too. A family favorite all year long. I just froze the cantaloupe and other fruits so I didn't have to use the 3 ice cubes. - 2/4/09

great recipe. i agree that adding the sugar depends on how sweet the fruit is. I dont understand the complaints. you get the fiber of fruit but also get a delicious frozen treat and the calorie count is the same as eating that plain fresh fruit. anyone should know not to buy canned fruit in HFCS. - 6/13/09

sounds yummy! I don't have all the ingredients, but will be back after I do. I like the idea of adding a little ginger, and perhaps some milk to add a creamy factor. A nice step up from just 'a plain serving a fruit'..feels indulgent! - 9/1/08

This is very good, however the sugars w/in the fruit make it possible to leave any extra sugars out. Tastes the best when it's more like a slushie- nice and ice cold on a super hot day. - 12/1/07

    Bad
0 of 5 people found this review helpful
No offense, but why not just enjoy a single serving of fruit? The orange juice, the canned peaches and the spoon of sugar all add up to an unnecessary sugar overload in my opinion, especially when you can purchase a frozen fresh fruit bar with LESS of the carbohydrates then this fresh recipe. - 11/21/07

Yum! I'd leave out the sugar or use sweetener, though. And I'd probably add a little more ice (no-cal) or maybe some fat-free vanilla soy milk (low-cal), to make it even larger. - 3/15/07
