Be careful not to use regular evaporated milk, the ingredient details specify 2%, you can lower the fat and calories a bit more by using fat free evaporated milk. - 1/31/09

I made this for our Bible study group. I tripled the recipe for 12 adults and a few toddlers. We had plenty and some leftover. Everyone loved it. It was perfect. It takes about 1/2 hour for that much of it to melt down and thicken. We dipped fruit, sugar & peanut butter cookies and pretzels. - 2/15/11

You can cut the calories even lower by using Hershey's Sugar Free Chocolate chips. The only problem is sometimes they are hard to find in the stores. - 1/31/09

We dipped fruit in it- I normally don't like marshmallow taste, but I did not notice it at all in this fondue. It also stayed soft after it cooled down, making me think it would make a great icing for something! Another thought would it work with low fat evaporated milk? - 1/11/09

I noticed this doesn't include the calories for whatever you are dipping in the fondue...could get dangerous (we always dipped pound cake at my house) but sounds delicious. Fruit maybe? - 7/13/08

Just noting that the article I found this recipe in said this was 1/4 cup per serving, so when I come back to print this I'll know :) Also for people who might not have seen the article. - 7/11/08
