Introduction

Really quick and very easy Really quick and very easy
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb. green beans, trimmed
    1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. soy sauce or Braggs Liquid Aminos
3 splashes of ginger juice OR 1/2 tsp. of freshly grated ginger root
    1/5 tbsp. butter, cubed
1 1/2 tsp. toasted sesame seeds
    1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar

Directions

Steam green beans for about 10 mins. When the beans are cooked through but still crisp, place in a serving bowl. Toss all other ingredients and serve. Just that easy... Enjoy!
I highly recommend the Braggs Liquid Amino Acids, taste just like soy sauce, but with way less sodium, give them a try!

My hubby, who is not a big fan of any veggie that isn't a potato, loved these! I wound up steaming in the micro in a ziploc steam bag, then throwing the ingredients in and giving it a shake. I, too, didn't have fresh ginger and used ground..rather than use butter, I used sesame oil. very good! - 3/30/10

This was great. Did it with canned green beans instead of fresh, but came out amazing. Went really well with steak, mushrooms, and onions. - 9/24/11

This was delicious. Extremely easy and nice change from the typical pace, and I didn't even bother with the butter. t's great cold as well. I just spread the sesame seeds in some foil in my toaster oven to toast them. - 4/2/11

YUM! I read it as "red wine vinegar" which it clearly was not supposed to be.. but it was still great!! I would omit the salt next time. - 11/13/11

Everyone liked these, the sesames gave it a really nice taste.... the only thing is that I thought it was a little too salty, I used sea salt and low sodium soya but I usually don't use a lot of salt when I cook. - 9/17/11

Very nice change of pace, thank you. I didn't have sesame seeds on hand either, but I omitted the butter and added a couple of drops of sesame seed oil to take place of the fat and sesame flavor instead. I like the brightness vinegar too. I might be splashing some on my beans from now on! - 1/30/09

This was wonderfull! Great flavor! I didn't have the sesame seeds so I used a splash of sesame oil instead of the margarine (just use a little or it may overpower) . This was a perfect with Scallops & Mango with Balsamic Vinaigrette submitted by ADREAMA.
