Introduction

This is a tasty, fresh, seasonal salsa to serve during the holidays! This is a tasty, fresh, seasonal salsa to serve during the holidays!
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1 (12 ounce) bag of fresh cranberries
    1 bunch fresh cilantro
    1 bunch green onions
    1 jalapeno pepper
    Juice of 2 limes
    3/4 cup white granulated sugar
    Salt to taste

Directions

In food processor, blend cranberries, cilantro, green onion, and jalapeno until medium-chopped consistency. Squeeze juice from two limes, add to the other ingredients. Stir in sugar and salt to taste. Refrigerate several hours to allow flavors to blend. Serve with baked tortilla chips, pita chips, or fresh tortillas. Also great on salads! Store leftovers in refrigerator.

    This sounds good. I just wish that besides saying 20 serving that it gave the size of serving ie: 2 tablespoons, 1 tabelspoon, 1/4 cup etc... - 2/27/10

    I have been making this for years....I also put in a chopped jalepeno, and orange, (rind and all). My family loves it! Stores for a LONG time in fridge so my husband can eat on toast!! - 12/27/08

    This sounds fantastic! I have only half a bag of cranberries left, so will half the recipe just for the first try, but you'd better believe if it's as good as I think it'll be, I'll be raiding the produce department right after Christmas. Thanks for sharing this. - 12/23/08
