This was a great recipe! I would use a little less onion (but i'm not a huge onion lover). I cooked them for 15 min on each side. Tasted in a pita with hummus, lettuce, pickles, tahini, parsley and hot sauce. - 7/11/09

Really good--spiciness was just right. Didn't have pita on hand so I added whole wheat flour until it felt thick enough. It did flatten out a bit in the oven, but was still delicious. - 3/27/13

I made the batter sit in the refrigirator for couple of hours. It made the consistency thicker and was easier to cook. Instead of baking on my first try I pan fried it and served it without pita over salad. Yummy... - 4/11/11

I used egg substitute instead of the egg and bread crumbs instead of the pita. Simple to throw together! I guess we'll see how it bakes up...good recipe! - 5/13/10

Easy to make but no cooking time. I just guessed. I've always bought a mix from the store and never made them from scratch. - 7/21/09

    O.K.
This was my first attempt at making falafel, so maybe I did something incorrect, but this recipe was very bland. - 4/25/09

Absolutely fantastic! Loved them, though would recommend some flour or somthing to make the mixture a bit more solid. - 7/25/08

I had to use more pita to make it a nice consistancy. will od again BUT will add a light breading of some sort to keep it together. and there is no length of time to cook. - 2/24/08

    Bad
Not very flavorful. The mixture is too runny to hold shape. - 1/31/08
