Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1.5 lbs Round Steak
    2 Tbsp Olive Oil
    1/8 cup whole wheat flour
    3 small-medium potatos
    3 large carrots
    1lb sliced mushrooms (about 2 cups raw)
    1 Clove Garlic
    1/2 Cup Chopped or Sliced Onions
    1 tsp Oregano
    2 cups canned tomatoes ( or 1 15oz can)
    1 Tsp Ground Celery Seed
    1/4 cup dry sherry or burgundy



Directions

Cut steak into cubes, roll in flour and brown in olive oil in skillit.

Put beef and remaining ingrediants into crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.


Makes 6 8oz servings

    Ummm, yummy, but it seems to be lacking moisture? I cooked mine on the stove, and had to add LOTS of water, not sure what would happen in the crock, but I cook with the crock a lot, and I cant imagine it makes enough liquid on its own. - 1/9/14
