Ingredients

    1 tbsp of butter
    block tofu
    half onion
    cup of mushrooms
    can of condensed mushroom soup (8 oz)
    container of sour cream, reduced fat (8 oz)
    3 cups of egg noodles

Directions

Put butter into pan
brown onions and tofu
put in mushrooms, stir around
stir in can of soup and sour cream
cook until hot
serve over egg noodles

    love it. used beef-less strips from trader joes, and fat free sour cream. Also didn't have cream of mushroom, just used low sodium vegetable broth and thickened it with a little bit of whole wheat pastry flour. - 9/13/09

    I made this and loved it, my husband also enjoyed it. I make my own cream of mushroom soup, since I'm on a low sodium diet, and used that. I used 3/4 cup of sour cream since someone said they thought 1 cup was too much. The 3/4 cup worked well. It's a keeper!! - 5/20/08

    too much sour cream, even though i only used half the amnt instructed. i would suggest more mushrooms and even more mushroom soup. however, i won't do this again. it was very simple to try, though. - 4/28/08

    I haven't made this yet but I'm sure going to try it! I have recently added tofu to my diet and I love stroganoff! I hope I can just sneak the tofu past my husband!!! LOL!!! :) - 4/16/08
