This was great! , I didn't have cider vinegar and used balsamic vinegar. That made it even better . My hubby doesn't care for cole slaw but he even commented on how good it was. It sure tasted better than it looked. - 5/31/12

this is almost identical to the way that I make slaw and most people love it. About the only difference is that I use more vinegar and when watching calories or sugar will use Splenda instead of the sugar - 9/11/09

    Very Good
First time making cole slaw for me believe it or not! lol It came out great. I only had 1 1/2 cups of cabbage so I added 1/2 cup of julienned fresh carrots. I also made more of the mayo/vinegar mixture to make it more creamy. Pretty good! Having BBQ chicken with it for Memorial Day tomorrow. - 5/30/21

I did one teaspoon of sugar which was enough. I also added red onion and red pepper for color. I couldn't reach the cider vinegar lol.. (DH wasn't around) so I used rice vinegar. Very tasty and colorful. - 4/1/20

I've made this recipe, as well, but my Mother-in-Law puts diced tomatoes in it (to cut down the acidity) and it taste's delish. - 2/9/13
