Introduction

Ingredients

    565 grams ground steak
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    6 slices melba toast, ground
    1 T. dry chopped onion
    1 egg
    1 t. salt
    Pepper to taste
    Dry herbs as desired (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together. Form18 meatballs of 50 grams each. Bake 20 minutes in 2 mini muffin tins. Each serving is 3 meatballs.

    I just made these today and WOW!! They taste amazing!! I used a can of the oregano basil tomato sauce instead of just adding herbs :) They are so moist and delicious!! - 8/3/10

    These look good and I love being able to prepare several meals at once but they aren't Phase 3 compliant so I guess I'll have to wait. Definitely going to keep the recipe though - 11/16/09

    these turned out great! i didn't have melba toast so i ground up my grissini bread sticks and tossed that in instead. i like have single serving size meatballs i can just take with me. great recipe - 10/7/09

    From Phase 3 on you are allowed fat (cheese, eggs, bacon, cream...) but very low carbs, so this recipe works really well on Phase 3 of your Hcg diet...so if you're in this phase go ahead and try this delicious recipe! - 8/29/11
