I haven't tried this recipe because I don't like marshmallows - too sweet for me. My fave way to eat fresh strawberries is with a drizzle of Hersheys syrup (1-2 tsp - about 35 calories) over cut up strawberries, with a spritz of whipped cream. Simple, yet decadent tasting & very low calories. - 6/8/10

Very easy and especially rich tasting. This was a great Valentine's Day splurge for my husband and me. I dished myself up a single serving (one-quarter cup) and dipped lots of strawberries, blueberries and blackberries into it! The marshmallows make it smooth, thick and sweet without adding fat. - 2/16/10

I'm helpless around choc covered strawberries so this is a great stand-in - gives the chocolate taste but way less calories. Not a big fan of marshamallows, so left them out. It was a bit runny so I added more chips, but it's still better because of the evaporated milk. My son and I had a blast! - 2/10/11

I use Ghiradeli mini choolate chipe 65% or 85% . I put them in the micowave to melt and that way the pyrex bowl is heated to makes it go faster. I never add milk I was told milk reduces the antioxidant value of Dark chocolate, I use soy or almond I put the bowl over hot water to blend in marshmallow - 2/14/12

I love this recipe, but I find it to be somewhat misleading. There is no way you can get 12 servings out of this. More likely, 6 or less...
I know, I know everything in moderation, but lets be realistic, 1/4 does not go very far, and then you have to add the cals of whatever you're dipping into it - 3/21/11

I'll maybe give this another try, next time I have all the family home.
Melted dark chocolate (Green & Blacks) with some cream and some fresh orange juice, and plenty of fruit of all sorts for dipping.
Stewed apple or pear goes really well, too, with a dollop each of sauce and some ice cream. - 5/28/10

Delicious! I made it in the microwave, melting the chocolate in the milk first, then whisking in the marshmallows, microwaving as needed for about 30 seconds at a time. I'm not a fan of fondue, but us it as a sauce for ice cream.
I got 2 cups of sauce, making a serving equal to 2 Tbsp plus 2 tsp - 6/11/15
