Introduction

This is like my other tuna pasta salad except for the dressing. This is like my other tuna pasta salad except for the dressing.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

1-14.5 oz. box Barilla plus elbows, cooked and drained
3-5oz. cans solid white albacore tuna in water
    2 large carrots, shredded
    1/2 cup onion, chopped small
    Dressing:
    1 -8oz. pkg. fat-free cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    3 T. mustard
    1 T. dill weed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

In a large bowl, combine pasta, drained tuna, carrots and onion. In another bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients. (You may wish to only add half of the lemon juice and mustard until you taste to see if you want it more tangy) Mix dressing with salad and toss. Adjust seasoning to your taste. You can easily half if this is too much. Makes about 12 cups.

    Bad
I normally love mustard which is why I wanted to make this but I used half the recommended lemon juice and mustard but it was way too tangy. If I were to make this again, I would use way less dill weed and very little lemon juice. I hate giving bad reviews, I'm sorry. :-( - 3/30/09

I found that mine needed the extra tang after it set awhile. The pasta seems to absorb all the flavor.

Great salad! The fat free dressing really makes this a lot lower than other pasta salads. - 3/26/09
