Introduction

I have adapted this recipe from its original to suit my needs. I have adapted this recipe from its original to suit my needs.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Meatballs
    2 lbs Ground turkey, lean
    1 Tbsp Italian herb seasoning
    1/3 cup egg beaters
    1/2 cup Panko crumbs
    Sauce
    5 tbsp sugar-free preserves
    1/2 cup Cider Vinegar,
    1 cup Tomato juice, without salt added

Directions

In a medium bowl, combine lean turkey, Italian herb seasoning, panko and egg beaters until well mixed.
Form meat into 1/2 inch balls and place them in your slow cooker.
In a clean med sized bowl, combine vinegar, juice, and preserves of your choice, pour this over your meatballs, stirring to coat them.
Turn on slow cooker to low heat, cook without opening lid for 6 hours.
Serve with whole wheat buns or over brown rice.

3-4 meatballs per serving.
