Introduction

I call this my chili since I am not a fan of regular chili. My 2 year old loves it. This makes a really big batch so if you don't think you will eat it all at one sitting, I usually buy small freezer/microwave safe containers and freeze them. When I want a cup of fresh homemade soup, I pop it in the microwave and I am good to go. It works really well for taking your lunch to work too. Ingredients

16 oz (1 lb) Ground Beef Lean
    1 cup Raw Onion Chopped
1.5 cup Ripe Tomato Chopped or 1 can diced tomatoes
1 cup Light Red Kidney Beans
    1.5 cups Elbow Macaroni Noodles
3 cans (10.75oz) or 1 family can Cambell's Tomato Soup
2 cups Water for watery soup. Less for chunky soup. (Your preference)
    Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

This make 16 1-cup servings.

Brown ground beef in one pan. In another pan start to boil noodles. Once beef is browned, drain grease and add the onions, tomatoes, & kidney beans. Cook those ingrediants together for about 5 minutes. Once the noodles are done, drain and add tomato soup & water. (I use 2.5 cups since I don't like chunky soup. You can use your preference on this). Finally add the hamburger, onions, tomatoes, & kidney beans to the soup. Add salt & pepper to taste if you wish. Cook for an additional 10 minutes and enjoy.
