Introduction
Tasty! Tasty!Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
10 oz spinach, cooked
1 lb ground beef
1 C finely chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 t cumin
.25 t cayenne pepper
.5 t salt
.5 t black pepper
1 large egg
2 C sprouted wheat berries, soaked bulgur, or any cooked grain (the recipe calculates for 2/3 C dry wheat berries, since that amount roughly triples when sprouted)
Directions
Mix all ingredients and form into 6 patties. Place in pan and roast at 400 degrees 20-30 min. or until done. Turn once or twice. The recipe says you can grill them, but I found they don't hold together well that way. Roasting works much better! :) 6 servings - and these aren't skimpy burgers!
