Introduction

Delicious classic lasagna without the meat. Delicious classic lasagna without the meat.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 cups ricotta cheese
    2 cups mozzarella cheese
    1 egg
    2 cups tomato or spaghetti sauce
    1 1/2 cups spinach, cooked
    9 whole wheat lasagna noodles
    1 teaspoon of oregano
    dash of pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Mix the spinach, ricotta cheese, half the mozzarella cheese, egg, oregano and pepper. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Then Layer half the tomato sauce, then 3 noodles, and then half the cheese and spinach mixture. Repeat Layer. Then top with the noodles then sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on the top. Cover dish with foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

    Thanks for this recipe. I subbed cottage cheese for the ricotta, I used gluten free lasagna noodles to make this a gluten free meal.

    Incredible!
    I added onion, yellow pepper, minced garlic,and mushrooms. I also substituded feta cheese for the mozarella. AWESOME! - 10/18/10
