Ingredients

    2 1/2 oz. of lean, ground round beef

    1 tsp. taco seasoning mix

    1/2 tbsp. water

    1 medium fresh tomato

    1 cup lettuce, romaine or lettuce of choice

    2 tsp. low fat cream cheese

    1 tbsp. low fat sour cream

    2 tbsp. low sodium salsa

    1/2 oz. low fat, low sodium shredded cheddar cheese

    1 oz. low sodium, baked tortilla chips


Directions

Brown ground meat in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat until thoroughly cooked; crumbled and drain any excess fat. Add half of taco seasoning with water to beef and mix well; simmer 3-4 minutes and then set side to cool. Chop tomato and lettuce; set aside. In a bowl, make dip by combining remainder of taco seasoning, cream cheese, sour cream and salsa; mix well. To serve, spread dip on plate, top with cooked beef, lettuce, tomato and cheddar cheese. Serve with tortilla chips.
