Introduction

My favourite meal is Hot Dogs and French Fries, so I had to make a lower alternative. This has 600 Calories and 14 grams of fat. I like to have two potatoes, but by having only one potatoe, and using one tsp of oil you can eliminate some calories and it becomes a 450 calories and 9.5 grams of fat.
I was never a big fan of the 98% fat free hot dogs, until I hooked them up with the left over oil and seasonings from the wedge recipe :) Now they are crispy and flavourful!
Also, if you want to save calories, you can probably find some bun or bread for the hotdogs that is much lower (mine is 100 cals a slice)

Ingredients

2 Tsp - Bertolli Classico Olive Oil
    2 - Russet Potatoes
1 Tbsp - Concord Foods, Roasted Potato Seasoning Mix (if you can't find this, you can just use any seasoning you like, ex. paprika, salt, oregano, garlic)
2 - 98% Fat Free Hot Dog Oscar Mayer
2 Slices - Bread, Freihofer Hearty Double Fiber

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Cut the potatoes in half, and then into wedges or strips. Place in a bowl and drizzle the oil over the potatoes (you need one tsp per potatoe). Then sprinkle with the seasoning and mix together so everything is coated evenly. Lay the wedges flat on a baking sheet.
Take the hotdogs and slice little cuts along them. Put them into the bowl with the left over oil and seasonings, and roll them around to coat them well. You can add more seasonings if needed. This just gives them extra flavour and crispness in calories that you are counting anyways!
Lay them on the baking sheet as well.
Place in a preheated oven for 20 minutes, then pull them out and flip each wedge, and turn the hotdogs. Cook for another 20 minutes on the other side and Voila! I ike to lightly toast the bread for my hot dogs because I find it more filling if it's crispy.
