Ingredients

    Cake:
    1 c flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 1/2 tbsp cocoa
    1/4 tsp salt
    3/4 c sugar
    1/2 c milk
    2 tbsp melted shortening
    1 tsp vanilla

    Sauce:
    1/2 c sugar
    1/2 c brown sugar
    5 tbsp cocoa
    1 c hot water

Directions

Cake:
Sift flour and dry ingredients
stir in milk and shortening
add vanilla
mix lightly and pour into a greased 8" x 8" pan
pour sauce over batter (recipe bellow) and bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.

Sauce:
mix all ingredients.
