Introduction

Ingredients

    Green peas fresh or frozen- 2-3 cups, three small potatoes or one large potato, cubed. 1 tbsp garam masala, salt to taste. Add a dash of sugar. 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, Olive oil 2 tbsp. Water one cup plus more as required. Red chilli powder 1 tsp. cilantro for garnish.

Directions

Heat oil. Add mustard seeds.
When they sputter, add turmeric powder. Add a cup of water, salt, peas and potatoes. cover and let simmer for 15-20 mintues or till peas and potatoes are cooked through. Add garam masala, chilli powder and a dash of salt. Mix thoroughly and let cook for another 10 minutes. Add more water if required - for a thick but not dry curry consistency. sprinkle with chopped cilantro before serving.
