Ingredients

Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
Butter, unsalted - 1/2 tbsp
Beef - 1 lb cubed, or stir fry steak (the recipe is calculated using sirloin, a lean cut. can also use another protein ie tofu or chicken)
Green Bell Pepper - 1 med chopped into 1/2 inch squares
Onion- 1 small chopped into 1/2 inch squares
Orange Juice - 1 cup
BBQ sauce - 1 tbsp
Soy Sauce, 2 tbsp
Red Ripe Tomatoes- 1/2 med chopped
Parsley, .5 cup (remove)
Basil, 5 leaves (remove)
Green Onion - 1/4 cup finely chopped
Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp
Directions
cut meat into 1-inch cubes (this can also be done with stir fry meat).
put large frying/sauce pan on high heat
add butter and olive oil in the pan
add meat to the pan
leave for about 2 minutes to brown, then stir and leave one minute to brown (turn heat down if necessary)
add onions and green peppers to the pan
remove meat and vegetable from pan.
add soy sauce, orange juice, and bbq sauce to pan. stir, be sure to scrape up any bits on the bottom of the pan.
add tomatoe and let simmer for 5 minutes
add parsley.basil and green onion. stir in.
add lemon juice to sauce and stir.
immediately readd meat, onions and bell pepper
stir and serve over rice, beside potatoes or on it's own.
