Introduction

This is a fairly spicy recipe which you can adjust to taste. I always look for low-sodium ingredients. I grill these burgers on the grill for a great summertime treat. The nutritional information does not reflect using low-sodium ingredients. So, the actual sodium will be reduced, if you adjust. This is a fairly spicy recipe which you can adjust to taste. Ingredients

    1 large egg
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
    1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp ground cumin
    1 tsp dry mustard powder
    1 tsp paprika
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    1/4 tsp kosher salt (optional)
    1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 1/2 pounds lean ground turkey

Directions

1. Mix the egg, jalapeno peppers, and garlic in a large mixing bowl until the egg is well blended. Add the sou sauce, Worcestershire sauce, cumin, mustard, paprika, chili powder, salt, bread crumbs, and turkey; mix well and form into 6 patties.

2. Preheat grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.

3. Cook the burgers on the preheated grill until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 4 minutes on each side. An instant-read thermometer should reat a least 165 degrees F.
