Ingredients

    1 lb ground chuck
    1/2 cup chopped onions
    1 dash salt
    2 dash black pepper
    1 can (14.5 oz) cut green beans, no salt added
    1 can (10.5 ox) condensed tomato soup
    5 medium potatoes, cooked
    1/2 cup warm milk
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Swiss cheese

Directions

In large skillet, cook meat & onion until meat is lightly browned and onion is tender. Add salt & pepper. Add drained green beans and soup; pour into 1/1/2-2 quart casserole. Mash potatoes while hot; add milk and egg. Season with salt & pepper. Spoon in mounds over casserole. Sprinkle potatoes with cheese. Bake in moderate over (350 degrees) for 25 to 30 minutes.
