Ingredients

    flour
    water
    yeast
    salt
    sugar
    olive oil
    ham
    mozzarella cheese
    parmesan cheese
    egg

Directions

In a breadmaker, place water & olive oil. Top with flour, salt, sugar & yeast. Allow breadmaker to go through the dough cycle. This should allow for the dough to rise for an hour.

Split dough into 2 equal pieces using a kitchen scale to make sure that each piece is the same weight.

For each piece of dough:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

On a floured surface, roll out 1 peice of the dough to roughly an 11x17 inch rectangle.

Layer ham, then mozzarella, then parmesan. Roll dough away from you much like a jelly roll. Pinch ends & fold underneath. Place on baking sheet.

With a knife, cut a 1/2" deep slice into the stromboli about every 2 inches.

Beat 1 egg. Brush each stromboli very lightly with beaten egg.

Place in oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
