Ingredients

1/2 pound (about 18) fresh figs, quartered
Cooking Spray
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar ( I used Splenda for baking- substituted measurement is 2 tbls. plus 2 tsp)
1/8 tsp ground cloves
2 cups skim milk
1/2 tsp grated orange rind
3/4 cup egg beaters
Directions
1. Preheat ovne to 375 degrees.
2. Wash and stem figs. Place figs in a 10-inch deep-dish pie plate coated with cooking srpay. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups, level with a knife. combine flour, sugar, salt, and cloves in a bowl. Gradually add half of milk, stirring with a whisk. Stir in remaining milk, rind, and eggs. Pour batter over figs. Bake at 375 degrees for one hour or until set, cool. Yield: 6 servings (serving size 1 wedge).
