Ingredients

1 and 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt or salt substitute
1 tsp Splenda Brown Sugar Blend (or 2 tsp regular brown sugar)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 6oz individual cup of Mott's Unsweetened Applesauce (about 1/2 c)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions
Makes 16 small biscuits
Preheat Oven to 400
Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper
Mix the dry baking ingredients well, stir in the walnuts and mix well.
Make a "well" in the center of the dry ingredients and add the applesauce, stirring well until moistened and well mixed.
Drop by tablespoons onto the parchment paper and bake 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown
