Ingredients
-
1 package broccoli coleslaw mix
2 packages ramen noodles (you need the noodles from both, and only one seasoning packet; the flavor is your choice)
1 bunch green onions, white & light green parts chopped
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
salt & pepper to taste (not included in nutrition info)
Directions
In a large bowl, mix the broccoli slaw, chopped onions, almonds, sunflower seeds, and the RAW noodles from the ramen, crunched up into bite-able pieces.
In a smaller bowl or cup, mix the oil & vinegar with the seasoning packet from ONE of the packages of noodles until dissolved and well mixed. Add the dressing to the salad and toss to coat.
The salad does taste better after sitting for a short while, but the longer it sits the mushier the noodles can become, which isn't quite as good.
This makes 8 approx 3/4 cup, very filling servings.
