Ingredients

    1 lb ground beef
    1 jar (26 oz) spaghetti sauce
    2 tbsp parsley
    2 tbsp basil
    2 tbsp garlic powder
    1 cup mozzarella cheese
    1 cup parmesan cheese
    16 oz cottage cheese
    3 tbsp italian seasoning
    9 lasagne noodles (approx. 8 oz)
    2 oz mozzarella cheese

Directions

Brown and drain the ground beef. Stir in all but 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce, parsley, basil, and garlic powder. Set aside.
Mix together 1 cup mozzarella, parmesan, cottage cheese, and italian seasoning. Set aside. In a baking pan, spoon remaining 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce and spread over bottom. Layer 3 noodles (or what fits in your pan) across bottom of pan. Next comes 1/3 of the meat mixture, then 1/3 of the cheese. Repeat these layers twice. Add additional 2 oz of mozzarella cheese to last layer of cheese. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand 15 to 20 minutes to set.
