Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1 CUP Sourdough Starter
    5 1/2 cup Bread Flour
    1 1/2 cup Lukewarm Water
    1 TB Sugar
    2.25 tsp Salt

Directions

Mix just fed starter with the flour and water. Let rest at room temp for 4 hours. Put in refrigerator for 12 hours. Take out and knead in salt and sugar, let rise for 4 hours. Divide and shape into loaves or boules. Let rise for 4 hours, while preheating oven to 425. Place loaf on a hot baking stone and pour a cup of water into the oven. Then turn temperatue down to 375. Turn after 15 minutes should be done around 30 minutes, check with thermometer to make sure bread is at 200. Cool before slicing. Can freeze loaves for later. Dough does not freeze well.
