Don't let the name fool you this is a very simple yet healthy recipe that is pretty good. It is great for those of us watching our sugar and dairy intake. The key is the banana, the riper the better, so don't throw away those nearly black bananas, make some oatmeal! Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups quick oats
    5 very ripe bananas, mashed
    2 cups unsweetend original almond milk
    1/2 cup water
    1/8 tsp salt

Directions

Put water and almond milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a boil, add salt and oats.
Cook briefly until desired thickness is reached, stirring occasionally.
Add bananas and remove from heat.
Stir unti oatmeal is mixed well and bananas are warmed.

Makes 5 1-cup servings
